Caterer Chester Boyd has scooped a three-year contract with the Goldsmiths' Company worth nearly £2m. A division of CH&Co that focuses on operating in London livery halls and private venues, Chester Boyd will provide catering for all dinners and corporate events at Goldsmiths' Hall.

Independent catering group CH&Co has launched a range of calorie-counted sandwiches and salads as part of its Wellbeing Being Well healthy eating campaign. The new range of 10 sandwiches and five salads will be available in 50 of the caterer's 140 restaurants nationwide from today.

Charlton House has extended its contract with the National Assembly for Wales (NAW) for a further five years in a deal worth £3.75m. The lengthy tender process saw the independent caterer see off competition from three major rival operators. The new contract will officially commence on 5 September.

CH&Co has been named as the UK Ruban d'Honneur - a prestigious award which sees it put forward as a contender for a top prize at the European Business Awards later this year. Ampersand has beaten incumbent operator Elior and rival caterer Benugo to win the lucrative Royal Historic Palaces public catering deal worth £60m. The sought-after contract is a massive coup for Ampersand, which was formed last year when parent company CH&Co split Charlton House into five specialist sub-divisions.

Charlton House has been awarded a second catering contract with consumer products group PZ Cussons, worth £100,000 in annual turnover. The contract at the company's Innovation Centre in Salford opened last month and sees Charlton House manage a breakfast, lunch and hospitality service.

Independent catering group CH&Co claims to have become the first catering company in the UK to serve pole and line-caught tuna in spring water throughout its 120 restaurants nationwide.
