The week in brief Sodexho cuts 10 jobs Sodexho has made 10 people redundant from its UK business and industry division. The job losses, which are from senior and junior positions, are part of what the company has called a "strategic review". A Sodexho spokeswoman denied that the measures were designed to cut costs and said: "We have made some changes to the structure of our business and industry division. The new structure will operate through four regions." Jurys Doyle to open in Brighton Irish hotel group Jurys Doyle is investing £25m to operate a new three-star hotel in Brighton's New England Quarter. The five-storey, 243-bedroom hotel will be part of a 15-acre mixed-use development. The hotel is due to open in the autumn.
