London chef-restaurateur Malcolm John has launched his fifth restaurant in the capital and his second Fish & Grill. Located in Putney, the all-day restaurant serves a menu focused on fresh fish and crustaceans from the South Coast and Cornwall and also includes meats from the grill.

Set at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains in 600 acres of parkland, Ballyfin, one of Ireland's most lavish Georgian houses, has opened after an eight-year restoration. It contains Irish art and antiques from around the world, preserving the elegance that the house reflected in the 1820s.

This 150-year-old hotel has recently reopened in the Swiss capital following an extensive two-year refurbishment.
