Formerly the New Angel, this is the latest venture by Alan Murchison's 10 in 8 Fine Dining Group, which took over the iconic Dartmouth restaurant last autumn. Head chef Darren Brown has joined from the former Michelin-starred West Stoke House in Chichester.

Just Opened – At.mosphere, Dubai

Situated at 442metres high on level 122 of Burj Khalifa, only two floors below the observatory deck, At.mosphere is the world's highest restaurant. With Adam Tihany furnishings, the space is divided between two outlets: one featuring an open kitchen using a Josper BBQ grill oven and the other, a luxury lounge serving food throughout the day.

As the first Sofitel in Austria, this contemporary art hotel is now the brand's flagship property in Europe. It is set within an 18-storey glass and steel structure, with colourful animated ceilings and a kaleidoscope by Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist, and a verdant living wall designed by Patrick Blanc.
