Great surprise for Nick Vadis, executive head chef at Eurest British Airways Waterside, BA's headquarters at West Drayton. Nick, right, above, is the lucky winner of our Win £500 of Lacor professional cookware competition run in the September issue of Catering Update.
Nick commented: "I chose a wide range of Lacor products for my prize. The quality is superb and is as good as anything I have used. I think potentially they will give similar suppliers a good run for their money in the UKÉ Absolutely superb."
The trip to Hostelco was also part of the comeptition prize. The event impressed the BAchef: "This was my first time at Hostelco and it is a superb venue, easy to get to, well spaced out and well organised. I have only one reservation: I would like to see more food element."
"Before I went to Hostelco, I thought Lacor just made pots and pans. But they make a wide range of equipment they manufacture, including crockery, oil drizzlers, utensils and pots and pans" he said.
