Bakehouse has introduced Panata - the traditional Portuguese snack, which is perfect to serve with morning coffee or afternoon tea.
They have a light crisp pastry case, filled with a sweet egg custard and finished with a bruleed sugar topping. They can be baked straight from frozen in just 16 minutes until the top is "azucar tostado" - literally toasted sugar.
