Impact storage racks for use inside coldrooms are now being imported from South Africa by Thomas & Davis, joining the Impstack stainless steel plate stacking trolley.
Fabricated in 304 stainless steel and designed to facilitate a free air flow around stored food, the racks suit storage of Gastronorm 1/1 dishes up to 100mm deep with the possibility of holding 36 within a 750 x 500 x 1800mm high space. Also new to the UK is the impact Gastronorm Trolley able to hold 24 Gastronorm 1/1 containers in a rack fitted with 125mm castors, two with brakes.
