Brothers Mike and Gary Payton, both experienced licensees from Bedfordshire, are the new owners of the Bell Inn at Trewoon on the north coast of Cornwall.
The freehouse occupies a large detached property that dates back to the 1920s and was known as the White Pyramid.
It sits on a busy A road on the outskirts of St Austell just five miles from the Eden Project and a 20-minute drive from Newquay.
Facilities include a 45-seat character bar, a 90-seat restaurant with a 15-capacity dance floor, and four en-suite, pine-furnished bedrooms (two family rooms and two doubles).
For the owners, there is six-bedroom accommodation with a lounge, kitchen/diner, and two bathrooms.
Outside, the Bell provides a patio with eight picnic tables, a children’s adventure playground and a 50-bay car park.
Bettesworths sold the freehold off a guide price of £595,000.
