Restaurateur Vin Do has opened his second Khoai Café restaurant – which specialises in Vietnamese cuisine - in London after buying a vacant restaurant unit in Ballards Lane, North Finchley.

The double-fronted unit is part of a small parade of restaurants and shops on the A598, near High Road and Kingsway. It is near the Arts Depot theatre at the heart of the new Tally Ho Corner development in North Finchley.

A former Chinese restaurant that has stood empty for some time, the restaurant has the capacity to seat around 75 diners.

The Finchley restaurant joins Do’s existing Khoai Café in Crouch End. He has a third restaurant in Camden while his family owns other restaurants in the capital.

The Enfield office of Christie + Co sold a brand new lease off a low premium of £20,000, with annual rent starting at £40,000.
