Lord of the Isles

The Lord of the Isles, a custom-built pub restaurant that overlooks the 300-berth marina in the Highland village of Craobh Haven, has changed hands.

The Argyllshire village of 50 houses, which was created in 1993, occupies the north shore of the Craignish peninsula overlooking the Sound of Shuna.

The pub restaurant, which was built in 1982, attracts trade from local people as well as the yachting community.

It incorporates a lounge bar/diner to seat 75, a 30-seat restaurant, two-bedroom owners’ accommodation, a large patio, and grounds containing two static caravans.

The business has planning permission to expand the restaurant and to build a five-bedroom owners’ flat and two staff bedrooms.

The Glasgow office of Christie + Co sold the freehold off a guide price of £500,000 on behalf of Lynne Donaldson to two families who do not wish to be named.
