Peacock Inn

The Peacock Inn at Oxill in Warwickshire – named after the peacock feather design wallpaper in the restaurant – has been sold.

The Cotswold stone village inn, which is believed to date back to the 16th century, incorporates a 30-seat bar and a two-part 35-seat restaurant, both with open fireplaces.

There is more seating outside with three picnic sets to the front and another seven in the grassed beer garden at the rear.

Other facilities include a large stone barn (currently used for storage) and a four-bedroom owners’ flat with study, living room and kitchen.

The Cirencester office of Colliers Robert Barry sold the freehold off an asking price of £550,000 to Yvonne Hamlett and Pam Farrell.
