Gino D'Acampo partners with school caterer Innovate Services

Education catering specialist Innovate Services has announced a new partnership with Italian celebrity chef Gino D'Acampo.

The TV chef and author has created 12 Italian pasta recipes that will be served at all 65 of Innovate's school, academy and college contracts.

The Simply Fantastico range, which will launch after the half term break, will be available as plated meal options or packaged in specially designed 'grab and go' insulated cartons.

Commenting on the new range, D'Acampo, said: "The dishes use the very best quality ingredients that are full of goodness and taste great. They are based on some of my family favourites and so I hope the students enjoy the meals as much as I did when I was growing up.

"Not only that, the meals are really easy to recreate and so recipe cards will be available so students can make the dishes at home with their families."

Derick Martin, co-founder and chief executive of Innovate added: "We will continue to work with Gino in the coming months to develop additional authentic Italian dishes and I am sure that the students who visit our cafes will be impressed with the choices available.

"And, it goes without saying that all the recipes meet the school's nutritional food standards, so parents can rest assured that the meals not only taste great, but are full of goodness too."

D'Acampo is currently undertaking a series of road-show events to meet Innovate's catering teams and provide live demonstrations of how the dishes are created, explain what has gone into the recipes, offer taste testings to inspire the school chefs who will be preparing the recipes.
