Healthy fun message
How's this for a great idea? Education Contract Services (ECS) has devised a special comic to give to pupils at the school where they run the catering contract, featuring cartoon characters Freddy Flave and Rapstar.

Aimed at children between the ages of five and 11, the comic tells the story of the relationships between young Freddy and his extra-terrestrial pal Rapstar.

The new comic will convey the importance of a healthy diet and exercise to young pupils through the use of puzzles, quizzes and other fun activities.

Neil Stoddart, head of Education Contract Services says: "With obesity levels increasing every year, it's important that we work to influence change in young people's eating habits."

A roll that's really a jaffa cake
The new Jaffa Cakes Mini Roll XL is an extra large moist sponge mini roll fully covered in plain chocolate with the "orangey" bit in the middle.

It's suitable for tuck shops, mid morning school breaks and for packed lunches.

The launch is supported with POS and shipper units, as well as a £3 million marketing investment for the Jaffa Cakes brand this year.
