Full of different beans
Origin Select Chocolate from Barry Callebaut consists of  four chocolates, each of them created with cocoa beans from one region. As a result, each chocolate has a different flavour, characterised by the cocoa from that particular region.

Each has a character of its own, which may differ from crop to crop. The four types are:

Arriba is white spicy chocolate based on cocoa butter of cocoa beans from Arriba in Ecuador.

Java is very pale milk chocolate based on East Java cocoa with a caramel taste.

Select Grenade is a dark chocolate with a cocoa content of 60 per cent, based on Grenada cocoa from Venezuela, with a spicy and flowery aroma.

Sao Thom‚ is dark chocolate containing 70 per cent of cocoa, based on Sao Tome cocoa, with a lot of body, it has both fruity and spicy aromas.

Also from Barry Callebaut is Organic Chocolate based on organic raw materials - the BIO range. Control procedures and standards for this type of production are severe and governed by EU regulations. Varieties include BIO-D dark chocolate, BIO-M milk chocolate, BIO-W white chocolate and BIO-DRO-100-D dark chocolate drops.

Whip up a sweet treat
Chocolate dessert mousses from Nestlé mean you can whisk up a dessert in minutes.

These desserts combine chocolate mousse with pieces of confectionery from well-known brands Smarties, Crunch and Cappuccino. All you do is whisk the mix with milk, add the pieces of confectionery and pour into the dessert cups before chilling.

Three varieties are available: Smarties; Crunch; and Cappuccino, a chocolate mousse with Cappuccino flavoured pieces.

Available in 1.1 to 1.25kg packs, each pack makes seven litres of chocolate mousse, equivalent to 70 x 110ml portions and has a shelf life of 12 to 18 months.

Sauce to spare
The Chocolate Puddle Pudding with Milk Chocolate Sauce is just one of the products launched by Brakes suitable for chocoholic customers. It not only has sauce on the inside, but also on the outside!

The Hot Jaffa Puddle Pudding is another must for your chocolate-loving customers. Its chocolate sponge is topped with milk chocolate sauce and filled with a real jaffa orange puddle centre.

The Black Forest variety is filled with a sweet, creamy vanilla puddle and topped with real cherry sauce.

Shock choc
The Chocolate Shock Gateau from Woodward Foodservice comprises a chocolate mousse with a layer of chocolate fudge on a biscuit base and topped with chocolate fudge drops and white and dark chocolate shavings. The gateau is pre-cut into 14 portions and each portion takes five minutes to defrost and has a refrigerated shelf life of 24 hours. The price is £13.26 (95p per portion).

The Mega Chocolate Fudge Cake contains two thick layers of chocolate sponge smothered in chocolate fudge sauce. It can be served hot or cold and is suitable for vegetarians.

It is available as a whole or pre-cut into 16 portions. The cost is £9.99 for a whole cake (62p per portion) or £10.20 for a pre-cut 16 portion cake (64p per portion).

Triple Chocolate Danish from Bakehouse comprises a Danish pastry with a filling made of dark chocolate paste with white and milk chocolate drops.

It can be baked straight from frozen in 18 minutes.
