Hotel banking expert, Rod Taylor, has joined Europe Arab Bank (EAB) as its head of hospitality and tourism.
Taylor will be responsible for providing banking services to public and privately owned hotels, travel, sports and leisure operators, as well as licensed trade sectors in Europe and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
He said: “The invitation to join EAB provided an opportunity to develop business on a UK, European and MENA geographical basis which reflects the global nature of the hospitality industry and also meets my personal ambitions.”
Taylor "retired" at the end of last year from his role as head of hotel financing at Barclays Bank after more than 40 years. EAB is a wholly owned subsidiary of Arab Bank.
