This Greek aged Corinthian vinegar is made by the natural fermentation of Corinthian currants grown in the Kalamata region of the Peloponnese. Aged in wooden barrels, the vinegar is dark in colour and, says Greek food specialist Odysea, which supplies it, a fruity flavour with a sweet, clean aftertaste. The company also reckons it offers a more affordable alternative to balsamic vinegar. Available in five-litre catering size.
