Chef Antony Worrall Thompson is currently stretching his wits and skills to the utmost in an attempt to survive in the jungle for the ITV series I'm a celebrity, get me out of here!.

The maverick chef, who runs Notting Grill in London, is spending two weeks in Australia with a group of other publicity-hungry celebrities, including actress Danniella Westbrook, dancer Wayne Sleep and footballer John Fashanu. For the programme, a cross between Big Brother and a Japanese game show, the team sleep in hammocks under the stars, and are forced to complete gruesome tasks involving insects and snakes in exchange for their daily rations. Viewers then vote the celebrities off the programme one by one, leaving an eventual winner.

You can watch Worrall Thompson wilt in the heat nightly on ITV at 9pm for the next fortnight - unless you have something better to do, that is.
