Video: Hospitality Action calls for 'action heroes' to raise money for charity

Hospitality Action is calling on industry workers to become “action heroes” for a week to raise money for the charity.

As part of Hospitality Action Week (18-24 May), participants are invited to wear their pants over trousers - à la Superman - to raise money.

But, the fun doesn’t stop at pants, industry workers might want to set up a charity football match, put their singing talents to the test with a karaoke evening, or run a hoolahoop contest.

How to get involved:

  • Visit www.hospitalityaction.org.uk and register your details for your fundraising pack.
  •  Nominate a Hospitality Action Hero ‘champion’ for your organisation - this person will be your organisation’s main point of contact for Hospitality Action Week
  •  Have some fun with your colleagues and brainstorm ideas on how you want to raise money – get the whole team involved.

Send photos of yourself or your colleagues modelling your pants (over trousers please, no flesh required!) to Helen Burgess, hburgess@hospitalityaction.org.uk, 62 Britton Street, London, EC4N 5UY) and see if they make it on to our online photo gallery.

First Choice Coffee will donate 10p to Hospitality Action every time a photo is submitted.  The winning photo will win four tickets to the Hospitality Sparkle Ball on 14 October.
