Lower-alcohol single-serve rosé from Sovio Wines

Friday 01 May 2009 07:05
Sovio white Zinfandel rosé Sovio, a sparkling white Zinfandel rosé from California, is now available to the on trade in single serve 75cl bottles.

With a 5.5% abv per bottle, it can be charged at the same price as a large glass of still wine. Its lower alcohol content is achieved through the TFC method, which uses a vacuum distillation system to reduce alcohol without affecting the wineÕs aroma, flavour or mouth feel.

The refreshing Sovio has a blend of red berry and citrus aromas with a lightly sparkling texture and flavours of red apple and strawberry preserve, leading to a crisp finish.
