Chargrills and broilers from Imperial

Friday 01 May 2009 07:39
Imperial CrossFire Over Fired Broiler ICFB-45Imperial has a range of chargrills with cast-iron top grates as standard - round rod or fin style can be specified at no extra cost.

Removable cast-iron radiants prevent burners clogging and provide attractive char-broiler markings. These models come with a two-year parts and labour warranty.

Imperial chargrill units are also available with a refrigerated base for storing pre-barbecue steaks and burgers. Sizzle'n'Chill model IR-36ABR-2-SC, with self-closing drawers, maintains 2.2-4.4°C interior drawer temperature even when ambient room temperature is 37.8°C. An easy-to-read, front-mounted digital thermometer is incorporated in the design.

The company's CrossFire Over Fired Broiler has been developed to deliver consistency with a 0.5in-thick polished steel searing plate and ceramic radiants, which direct heat downwards to penetrate the exposed surface of the meat.

There are two models to choose from: the ICFB-36 with two burners and an output of 84,000BTU/hr or the three-burner ICFB-45 with an output of 126,000 BTU/hr.
