Active contribution
Cadbury Trebor Bassett is working in partnership with the Youth Sports Trust to launch Cadbury Get Active - a long term initiative designed to encourage more physical activity among young people.

The £9 million campaign has several elements: An on-pack initiative on 160 million chocolate bars which allows all schools to redeem tokens for free sports equipment from a catalogue compiled by the Youth Sports Trust. These include multi activity sets, parachutes, foam javelins, as well as traditional football equipment and basketballs. All items have been tailored to the needs of young people in both primary and secondary schools.

Another part of the campaign involves providing resources and training for teachers. Cadbury is supporting two Youth Sports Trust programmes - TOP Sport for seven- to 11-year-olds and TOP skill for 11- to 14-year-olds.

On 8 June, there will be "Get Active" day - a free event for over 20,000 people to celebrate all forms of activity whether cricket, dance, football, music, netball or tennis. In "Run with Paula", children and families are invited to run for 1km with Paula Radcliffe, world marathon record holder and BBC Sports Personality of the Year.

Boxer Audley Harrison will be hosting warm up sessions and representatives from various sporting bodies will be on hand for information.

How can you get involved?

Cadbury is building on an extensive existing schools programme to ensure that every business and industry restaurant is linked with a local school of their choice and has a collector box for special wrappers at each of their till points.

The foodservice division of Cadbury Trebor Bassett will be working directly with organisations such as LACA (Local Authority Catering Association) to make sure that local authority catering organisations and their school clients are fully aware of the scheme.

Hi-chair help
It's always been difficult accommodating small children who need a high chair, as the chairs can take up a lot of space not only at the table, but also in storage.

Help is at hand from Interben, which has launched the Chair-Li - a table mounted chair.

The Chair-Li is connected and detached from the table in a matter of seconds and it will fit tables with a thickness ranging from 16 to 63mm (5/8in - 2 in).

It has rubber arms to protect the table top, is safe for children up to 15kg (33 lbs) and folds away easily for storage. The Chair-Li complies with appropriate British Standards, has a safety crotch and waist strap and is lightweight and easily portable.

The trade price of the Chair-Li is £28 per unit plus VAT and carriage.
