Dark Devil’s Genoese is the latest cake mix to join the Dawn Foods Baker’s Select range.
A companion to its Golden Genoese premix, it provides a dark, rich, chocolate cake with the addition of just oil and water. The moist cake is free from trans-fatty acids and hydrogenated fats, is low in sodium, rises evenly and flatly, trims and cuts with little wastage, and retains its moisture throughout its five- to seven-day shelf life.
The cake is ideal for splitting, filling, icing and topping and can be used to make celebration cakes, gâteaux, layer cakes, chocolate fudge cakes, slab cakes, fairy cakes or cup cakes. The mix is sold in 12.4kg bags.
