France and Mexico provided the inspiration for two new 270g pies from Bristol manufacturer Pieminister.

Poussin Boots, based on the traditional French coq au vin recipe, combines British chicken, pancetta, pearl onions, red wine and thyme with prunes and marsala.

The vegetarian Tex-Mex Arriba Bandidos contains butternut squash, black-eyed beans, tomato, fresh herbs, chipotle chilli, Cheddar cheese and mango.

In common with the core Pieminister range, the newcomers are sold in minimum quantities of 24 pies of any combination of fillings.
