What: The Toast Host

Why: Fed up with requests from guests for fresh toast, because they can't get through the eight slices in the rack in the few minutes it takes for piping-hot toast to become crunchy and cold? Well, the Toast Host claims to eliminate all that waste by heating the slices in its stainless-steel rack by using tea lights in its heat-resistant plastic base.

Good for: Ensuring the butter melts when you spread it on your morning carb fix.

Bad for: People who like cold toast (ie, not many).

Where: Available from Bestbreak, 07941 643832

Price: £20
