Sodexho staff go international

Thursday 27 May 2004 15:08
Sodexho launches a month-long promotion of street foods from across the world in its staff restaurants next week.

Under the banner "Flavour Street", chefs at some 1,500 UK staff restaurants will create dishes commonly cooked and eaten on the streets of cities around the world.

Four different parts of the world will be focused on each week, starting with the Americas and the Caribbean, then Central Asia and India, then Europe and the Middle East, and finally South-east Asia.

All chefs will get a recipe guide that includes dishes such as chicken picadillo tostada, Thai-style fishcakes with red onion and cucumber salad, falafel in pitta bread, and sweet plum beef stir-fry with firecracker rice.
