Hospitality students Lucinda Bence and Joanne Coates have been named as Richmond Events' 2004 Young Guns competition winners. Bence, from Bournemouth University, and Coates, from Sheffield Hallam University, were chosen as the winners ahead of eight other finalists at a judging lunch held earlier this month.
They each win a place at this year's Catering Forum, which will take place aboard the P&O cruise liner Oriana between 17 and 20 June. The forum is attended by hundreds of hospitality decision makers, making it a valuable networking opportunity for the students.
