The Disperator range of food waste disposers from Meiko UK can be used separately or as part of Meiko's MicroVac vacuum food waste removal systems.
From September, they will be joined by a compact under-table wet waste dewatering unit that will help caterers handle food waste sustainably.
The line includes bench-mount, freestanding cabinets, sink-bowl-fitting and trough-mounted models. The bench-mount and freestanding models have sloping safety covers with interlocked safety switching while sink-fitted units have a narrow waste inlet of just 80mm to restrict access.
The grinders are made from cast-steel alloy with a shaft seal and IP55-rated motor and the cover guard and grinding motor assembly is of high-grade stainless steel.
