London restaurant The Bombay Brasserie is to close for three months for a major refurbishment.
The Kensington-based Indian eaterie, which celebrated its 25th anniversary last year, will shut next weekend (10 August) and is scheduled to reopen in the autumn.
It has appointed Hong Kong-based Chhada Siembieda & Associates to oversee the redesign of the restaurant.
Director of operations Arun Harnal told Caterersearch the refurbishment would be “radical”.
“These are exciting times for The Bombay Brasserie and I hope this marks the start of another 25 glorious years for the restaurant,” he said.
Bombay Brasserie has also appointed Taj Group of Hotels executive chef Hemant Oberoi to overhaul the restaurant’s menu.
