The Hydro range of pass-through dishwashers from Classeq has been re-engineered to use mechanical components in place of electronic controls and PCBs.

"After talking to service engineers, we found they prefer fixing purely mechanical components rather than replacing expensive electronic units," explained Gary Jones at Classeq. As a result, the machines are now easier to use, maintain and repair and cheaper to produce and service.

The simple controls require minimal training for workers, who simply press a button to start the machine. An Auto Start function turns on the wash programme as soon as the hood is closed.

The washers, which offer wash cycles of between one-and-a-half and three minutes, can process up to 40 500mm x 500mm racks - or 720 dinner plates - per hour. Hygiene is addressed by auto-drain and continuous self-cleaning hood functions. The machines carry a 12-month parts and labour warranty.
