ChefSafe Gas Interlock

The ChefSafe Gas Interlock is an easily installed and operated fail-safe device that cuts off the gas flow to all flue-type gas appliances if the kitchen extract fans fail.

It complies with the mandatory BS6173, the Corgi Technical Bulletin TB120, the Gas Safety Regulations and HSE kitchen ventilation guidance.

The flame-retardant device can be bottom- or rear-cable-mounted. The front panel carries simple stop and start buttons, clear instructions for use and coloured lights warning of faults or the need to call an engineer.

Optional extras include the ChefSafe solid-state air-flow sensor, an air differential switch and an emergency shut-off switch.
