The Scotsman MC8 ice-maker can dispense ice directly into an ice bucket, creating an eye-catching spectacle on the counter.
With traditional machines, ice-maker and storage bins are usually mounted one on top of the other, but the new Scotsman can be attached to the side or above the storage vessel, allowing installation under, alongside or above the counter.
Dispensing the ice cubes into their final storage container saves time and reduces the risk of ice contamination.
The 694mm high x 720mm wide x 600mm deep machine has a daily output of 139kg or 6,500 clear, slow-melt Supercubes.
Ice is dispensed in a choice of three, thimble-shaped sizes which do not clump in the ice bucket and prevent splashback when added to drinks. The ice-maker incorporates a Scale-guard flushing system to prevent the build-up of lime, which is deposited into an easily-removed cap.
