Sue Finch has been named as the new chief executive of the Tourism Society.
She replaces Carrie England, who is leaving to study an MBA, from today (1 September).
Finch has previously worked for the English Tourist Board, set up the charity HolidayCare and has also worked within local government and rural tourism.
Tourism Society chairman David Curits-Brignell said: “Whilst we are sorry to see Carrie go after just over a year with us, I am delighted that Sue Finch is joining us.”
The society is a professional body that acts as a forum for members to share ideas and discuss issues affecting the tourism and hospitality industries.
