London cocktail bar Be At One is to open its largest site yet in the City of London next month.

The company has secured a 300-cover site in Monument, which will be spread over two levels and is set to open in mid-October.

Located on King William Street, directly opposite the Monument, the new bar will be Be At One's second site in the area after its Spitalfields venue. It will be open seven days a week with a 2am licence on Thursdays, Fridays and at weekends.

Be At One Monument will reflect the New York-inspired interiors of the group's Shoreditch and King's Cross venues.

Rhys Oldfield, co-founder of Be At One, commented: "With next year's Olympic Games just around the corner, the timing could not be more perfect for the opening of our newest and largest bar. Our Monument site will be split over two levels and will be decorated in style of the iconic cocktail bars of Wall Street."

The opening of the Monument site will see the appointment of the company's 500th qualified bartender. Be At One spends £5,000 training each of its bar tenders, with its total investment in training now at £2.5m.

"We have always acknowledged that our bartenders are the centre of our business. We view complete and thorough training as essential for all our employees and to be able to celebrate the 500th certified bartender is a fantastic achievement," said Oldfield.
