The four-star Sandman Signature Hotel Newcastle, occupying the former Scottish & Newcastle brewery site at Gallowgate, has recruited Shireen Rowley as director of business development. Originally from Ponteland, Rowley joins with more than 20 years' experience in four- and five-star hotels across the UK and will be responsible for driving the corporate market and promoting the hotel to business clients both regionally and nationally.
