Fat and grease can cause major drain blockages, producing smells, slow drainage and low hygiene levels. New treatment for their removal comes from Metro Rod in the form of the appropriately named Fatbuster. Installed free, the Fatbuster uses a biological digestion system to break down blockages with enzymes from environmentally friendly microbes. The unit releases a correct dosage in to the drains at automatically timed intervals to suit the working of the kitchen. Metro Rod says drains will be cleared free of charge if a problem persists.
