
Hotels in the North-west saw revenue per available room (revpar) increase by 10.15 % in the week ended 21 September, 2008, according to figures from hospitality research company STR Global.
Revpar was £71.21, compared with £64.65 in the equivalent week of 2007.
Occupancy grew by 1.91 percentage points to 85.11% while average room rate increased by 7.68% to £83.67, compared with £77.70 in the corresponding week of 2008.
