Now how about this for a colourful idea?
Scolarest has introduced a new Nurture Our World (NOW) Café concept at Hampton Junior School in Hampton, Middlesex.
The NOW Cafe uses a team of colourful dinosaur characters to encourage children to eat healthily. The school dining area has been transformed with new flooring, a giant rainbow arch and a new servery and counter. The walls have been painted in purple and yellow, while the ceiling is decorated with the NOW dinosaurs.
For example one dinosaur is called Fruitus Freakus and encourages kids to eat plenty of fruit. The dinosaurs also help kids learn about other issues, such as protecting the environment and caring for others.
Malcolm Rivers, head teacher, said: "The children's reactions on the first day said it all. Their jaws dropped open and it was as if they had suddenly entered a magical place."
