Tracy Park set to become premier golf destination in south west England
The new owners of the Tracy Park Golf & Country Club](http://www.theparkresort.com/) have plans to develop the resort, between Bristol and Bath, as the premier golf destination in the south west of England.
Ian and Jane Knipe bought the Grade II listed, 24-bedroom country hotel last month off a guide price of £5.7m. The Knipe family previously owned the property when it was known as the Gloucestershire, until they sold it in March 2005 to TP Resort.
Set in 225 acres and with two 18-hole golf courses, the hotel is to be extended to 42 bedrooms.
Savills and Colliers International were the agents for the sale.
