Meadowland Dairy Cream Alternative from Caterplan is a blend of buttermilk and vegetable fats, which gives it the same taste as real dairy cream. It reduces down well and does not split when boiled making it ideal for cooking. In addition it can also be frozen when whipped with five per cent sugar, which makes it suitable for gateaux and other sweet applications. Meadowland must be stored below 15°C and chilled for eight hours before whipping.
