UK commercial microwave maker Merrychef offers an extensive choice of both microwave ovens and microwave-accelerated convection ovens. The heavy duty Microcook HD series covers five models from 1025 to 2025 watts output with all but one featuring Merrychef's long-established automatic "pop-up" door for space-saving where gangways are tight.
There are also two HD Turboaire models which combine 1725 and 1925 watts microwave power with an instantaneous hot air facility for regeneration and crisping of pastries and snacks.
For high performance cooking combining microwaves and convection, the Mealstream range includes 400, 500 and 700 series models with top-end models achieving cook times up to 10 times faster than conventional ovens and incorporating facilities such as built-in grease extraction, air purification and recirculation .
