The Patatwist oil-less cooking system for producing chips, waffles, wedges, pizza and other finger foods consists of a special oven with heated storage/display of cooked food above. The two-tray oven heats up to 10 servings of food at a time using a combination of hot air convection and infra-red radiation, with a patented agitator to keep items separate. An active carbon filtration system operates automatically when the door is open. Price of the complete oven-plus-display unit, including promotional materialand related equipment is £2,400

Exhibitor Amcott Bake-Off Supplies also showed bake-off ovens in a choice of three sizes, all made in stainless steel. The Mini, priced at £750, holds 435 x 345mm trays and can take four at 80cm spacing, enabling 20 half-baguettes to be baked in around 10 minutes. The Midi oven takes up to three 600 x 400 trays and costs £990 while the Maxi takes four 600 x 400 trays and costs £1,400.
