Thornbridge opens new Dada bar in Sheffield

Thornbridge Brewery has opened a new bar, Dada, in the centre of Sheffield.

It is the second new pub opening for the company in the past 12 months.

Dada will feature a regularly-changing list of Thornbridge beers, including a focus on their increasing keg range and a number of world classic beers, available on draft and by the bottle.

It will also have a space allocated to temporary art exhibitions by established artists, as well as those wishing to showcase their work for the first time. The bar will focus strongly on the local community and will work with Sheffield artists and musicians such as Martyn Ware of Heaven 17.

Thornbridge Brewery operations director Simon Webster said: "We try to keep things simple with excellent products and customer service but also by ensuring our venues offer something a little different that suits their community. We wanted to have fun and create a venue that would challenge the norm, but at the same time focus on beer, art, music and community to attract a wide range of customers".

Situated in the grounds of Thornbridge Hall, near Bakewell, Derbyshire, Thornbridge Brewery began brewing in 2005 as a 10-barrel brewer. Today the brewery has grown to a 30-barrel operation, having opened a new state-of-the-art site in 2009.
