The three-star Lansdowne Strand hotel in Calne, Wiltshire, has changed hands for more than £1m.
It has been bought by Anup Khosla, who also owns the Pencerrig Gardens hotel near Builth Wells, Powys, in mid-Wales,
The 26-bedroom hotel with a 56-seat restaurant sits in the heart of Calne on the A4 between Chippenham and Marlborough.
It’s a Grade-II-listed property that was built in the 16th century as a coaching inn and is one of the oldest surviving buildings in the market town of Calne.
The courtyard, which offers secure parking, still contains the medieval brewhouse.
The sale was handled through the Cirencester office of Colliers Robert Barry.
