Heinz Select Tangy Tomato and Basil soup

The Classic Soups line from Heinz will provide a familiar hook for the 52% of consumers who opt for soup at lunchtime as they account for 19 of the nation's 20 top-selling soups.

Its canned Classic Soups provide small outlets with no-waste single portions that simply require heating while its Condensed Soups (which are mixed with equal amounts of water) effectively double the volume in half the space, yielding nine servings per 830g can.

Classic and Condensed flavours include Cream of Tomato, Chicken or Mushroom, Country Vegetable and Minestrone.

Heinz Select standing pouches of chunky soups (sold in boxes of six one-litre pouches) contain no MSG, artificial colours or preservatives and follow FSA salt guidelines.

Varieties include Chunky Farmhouse Vegetable, Rustic Minestrone, Hearty Mushroom, Tangy Tomato & Basil and Sweet Carrot & Coriander.
