The Little Sauce Company's range of fresh tomato-based and pesto sauces, developed by Italian/South African chef Marco Fontana Ros, has launched into the food service sector after successful retail sales and positive feedback from trade show appearances.

The 100% natural, ready-to-use sauces (which include no sugar, artificial colours, additives or preservatives) can be used in many dishes, from pastas and one-pot stews to sandwiches and wraps.

The tomato-based sauces, which are made in small batches in the UK to ensure consistency and freshness, are available in 1kg, 5kg and 10kg packs. They include the Gold Great Taste Award-winning Tomato and Basil, a rich Puttanesca, Pepper, Tomato and Chilli and a hot Arrabbiata.

Pesto options, sold in 1kg or 5kg packs, include the classic Basil Pesto, Sundried Tomato and Basil with a hint of chilli, and peppery Rocket Pesto. The company, formed in 2008, also offers seasonal and speciality sauces such as Walnut Pesto in the autumn, a summer Grilled Aubergine Pesto and a springtime Truffle-infused Asparagus Pesto.
