Sodexo and Unilever enter into £375m partnership
Sodexo and Unilever have entered into a five-year business partnership to integrate services at about 70 sites across 15 European countries, estimated to be worth about €450m (£375m).
The agreement fits in with Sodexo's business strategy to broaden its facilities management (FM) offer and integrate a wide range of services to further benefit clients, the company said.
As a result, Sodexo aims to take over the delivery of a wide range of hard and soft FM services.
Sylvia Metayer, director of international large accounts for Sodexo, said: "We are confident that we can add value and contribute to Unilever's business objectives through the provision of consistent and high quality services whilst also enabling Unilever to focus on its core business."
Ken Manke, vice-president workplace services from Unilever, added: "Moving to one principal supplier contributes significantly to reducing cost, driving greater consistency and alignment in our services and it will improve the measurement of the facility performance in Unilever."
