One of the bosses of pub company Honeycombe Leisure has stepped down from his role after 15 years.
Bryan Wardman, joint chief executive, has left the business his family formed in 1976.
Wardman joined in 1991 as managing director but said the time had now come to seek new challenges.
“I’ve been here 15 years and remain a major shareholder, but all businesses evolve and its time for me to take on something new,” said Wardman.
The 51-year-old will not end his association with Honeycombe entirely as he will continue as a property consultant for the venture capital trusts - Amber, Nectar and Ma Hubbards - managed by the company.
James Baer will continue as sole chief executive at the company.
