What business is it in?
Warner specialises in short breaks for adults. It operates 13 sites, ranging from historic hotels in Harrogate and Hungerford to classic seaside resorts on England's east coast and the Isle of Wight. All offer guests access to sports and leisure activities and evening entertainment.

What other brands is it linked with?
Warner is part of the Bourne Leisure group, and its sister companies are Haven, Butlins, Haven Europe and British Holidays.

What's its form?
The company expects to hit turnover of £96m for 2004.

Where is its head office and area of operation?
Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. The company operates in England and Wales.

What sort of employer is it?
At www.warnerholidaysonline.co.uk you'll find Warner's recruitment page. The company employs 2,400 people and reckons they enjoy plenty of variety. For example, Warner claims employees might find themselves serving at medieval banquets in the Great Hall at Littlecote House hotel or pampering guests at the company's stand-alone Thoresby spa. The recruitment section lists all current vacancies by availability and type and the company offers NVQ and health and safety training where applicable. The company has a graduate scheme and the option of limited live-in accommodation. It's currently revising its management training programme.

How does the future look?
The company is in the process of investigating further properties for purchase this year and will develop a number of its existing sites, adding spas and upgraded accommodation. Warner can offer positions as waiting staff, bar assistants, chefs, receptionists, leisure assistants and entertainers.

Did you know?
Warner's Cricket St Thomas hotel and wildlife park in Somerset is where TV series To the Manor Born was filmed, and is also the external setting for Crinkley Bottom, the fictional abode of Noel Edmonds's House Party TV show, which was popular in the 1990s.
