Brewer and leased pub operator Scottish & Newcastle today bought northern pub company MGR Leisure for an undisclosed sum.
MGR Leisure, which was owned by Michelle Roe (the wife of Pyramid Pub Company director Neil Roe), has 16 pubs sited primarily in the north-west of England.
Scottish & Newcastle Pub Enterprises owns more than 1,100 leased pubs. S&N sold its managed pub portfolio to the Spirit Group last year.
