The Bar at the Dorchester, Dorchester hotel, London

Reopened after an extensive renovation, The Bar aims to reintroduce the cocktail hour. Mirrored glass, mahogany and velvet give it a new look. It also features a bespoke bitters menu, the Dorchester's own gin and what's claimed to be the UK's largest selection of vermouths.

  • Food and drink: Cocktails designed by the Gorgeous Group, and there's also a light menu of salads, tartines and caviar. Cocktails include bespoke creations such as the Hibiscus Royale - rose vodka, cranberry juice, hibiscus syrup and Champagne.
